Hi everybody, it took me awhile to figure out how to post a comment, but anyway here i am! Im new and I decided to join b/c I found the site by accident while researching for info regarding a dog breed. Your comments seemed real informative and I was won over! :thumbs up . I am considering buying a sheba inu (or is it shiba inu?:confused: ) and wanted to know if anyone on the forum has any info about care or temperament that could be helpful?

Welcome to the forum, petnubie. I can't tell you anything about Shiba Inus (I'm a setter fan, m'self :o)...however I believe there are a couple of Shiba Inu owners on the site. If they don't see this post, try starting a thread with Shiba Inu in the title and I'll bet you'll draw them in. :D

Sheba Inu's tend to be very loyal to their guardians and family, but tend to dislike other dogs. They can be a handful if not properly trained and socialized to walk around other dogs.
