Free Spay/Neuter Clinics

I am able to offer to reputable rescues upcoming free spay/neuters. These clinics will be held in Southwestern Ontario area (London, Stratford Woodstock) etc.

This offer will be for 1 week only in July and again for 1 week only in August.

Vets who have graduated veterinary college and are doing their internships will be preforming the surgeries under the direction of the clinic vets.

You must be willing to sign a form stating you understand the surgery is being preformed by a student vet under the supervision of the Clinic Vet.

You must provide the transportion to and from the appointments. Dogs/cats are required to spend the night at the clinic so they can be evaluated in the morning by the Clinic Vet and the student vet.

I can tell you that these vets do EXCELLENT work and I have been participating with them for years.

If you have feral cats, this is an excellent opportunity to have them spayed/neutered for free.

If you are interested in participating please email Kimberly at kismutt@rogers.com

Sounds like a Dr. Staples special :D

Karin June 25th, 2005 04:13 PM

This is the kinda spam I like to see.....

chico2 June 25th, 2005 04:19 PM

Why? Do you think this is a joke??
It sounds sincere and would be a great thing!
I can be a bit clue-less at times  but why would anyone joke about this?

Karin June 25th, 2005 04:25 PM

Huh??? Who's joking?

SnowDancer June 25th, 2005 05:03 PM

Kimberley, really nice of you to organize these clinics. I hope that many rescue groups take advantage of this unique opportunity.

Luba June 25th, 2005 05:09 PM

Did I start that ??? LOL

Dr. Staples is a vet out in western on that does great spay/neutering so I've been told, I thought maybe it was his clinic with this kind gesture.

katy82 June 25th, 2005 05:12 PM

I actually go to Dr. Staples and he is great. His spay/neuters are very affordable and hes great. At least I think its the same doctor lol!

SnowDancer June 25th, 2005 05:33 PM

katy - how is Phil? My pretty boy was groomed today which means rain any minute so he can roll in the mud. When I picked him up, people commented on how white "she" is and how pretty. My husband now believes me when I tell him people think he is a girl.

Kismutt June 25th, 2005 10:07 PM

Hi Guys.....just for claification this is not out of Dr. Staples Clinic. I know of him, but have never used his services.

chico2 June 25th, 2005 10:18 PM

Oh well,Hello.....did I blow it :D ,I thought Dr Staples was some fictional character and Luba was being funny and I thought Karin talking about spam was being sarcastic.....it's what my husband calls a"brain-fart"it happens when you reach a certain age :D

katy82 June 26th, 2005 09:04 PM

Snowdancer I missed your post somehow! Phil is doing great. Her little belly rash is cleared up and shes her normal insane self. Everybody always thinks that Phil is a boy and thats before they know what her name is! Phil needs a good grooming now I've been taking her to the river a lot lately to cool off. We don't have airconditioning  Since she can't get the "puppy package" at the groomers anymore the price of her grooming has almost tripled!

I have complied the list, and July is now very full, and most of August. There *may* be a few more spots for August, but I will post if there is. Please just check this post for August. My mailbox is getting flooded ;) Thanks!!

how to apply?

I had to fill out form to use this forum but didn't know how to apply. I have a rescue pup and was hoping if any spots left I could apply. I am on odsp and cpp and they figure she is about 6 months now, so it is time. Thank you.

Hi, tlee. Welcome to the forum.

This thread is very old. It looks like the offer was for the summer of 2005.

I know that many communities still offer low-cost spay/neuter services, though. Perhaps if you start a new thread of your own in this forum ( General Forum for cats and dogs) some of our current members can suggest some of the available programs in your area.
