Okay, so I'm late. We just took this yesterday afternoon, then were busy with Halloween-ing. Maggie doesn't look too thrilled, but she was a good sport. Bo the cat wouldn't even come over!

Honey downloaded a bunch of patterns. |
Honey downloaded a bunch of patterns.
Are the patterns carved all the way through or are some of them just carved thin enough to let the light through? I can't tell from the pics...but it looks like some of the pattern would fall off or be awfully weak if it were carved all the way through? |
They are carved the whole way through.

Hmmm...I'm not that talented. The knife always slips and I end up with one super big triangle eye and one teeny little triangle eye... (can you tell, since I still cut triangle eyes, that I'm not very handy with the pumpkin carving? :D ) |
We have those pumpkin carving knives and scoopers that do the job really well. They have little "saws" that cut really good. We got a bunch of them for about 75 cents first couple of days after Halloween. (I usually stock up on them because I either break them or lose them).

I posted this link in the off topic forum just before Halloween:
