In Memory of Chris 21711

I just had to post something in honour of a true animal lover and animal advocate who was a member of this site. Chris21711 will be truly missed by many. She touched the lives of many many people whom she never even met in person.

I had the pleasure of meeting such a wonderful soul and will never forget her. Our visit is engraved in my mind and will not be forgotten.

I took this wonderful photo that will forever remind me of Chris21711 and her furrbaby's.

I wish her family and friends peace at this difficult time.

There is NO DOUBT in my mind that she was met by MANY furry friends at the bridge.

Found an old thread I started about Lord Stanley and the Hockey Playoffs. Chris was right in there rootin' for them there Leafs back then. :)

Thank you Winston for starting this thread. Chris deserved it.
I was asked by PM how her family is. I'll answer it here. They, as are all of her friends, are devastated. Only last week we were talking about her being home for Christmas.

I will post what I posted on my cat page here as well............

As Chris ********** family and friends send her to her final resting spot today I would like to ask all of you a big favour. Please consider sending a donation or gift to your favourite charity (be it human or animal), shelter, rescue or sanctuary in her name. It would mean a lot to us.

Chris, you were so much more to me than a friend. You boosted me up, fought for me, collected food for the gang, and listened to my complaints more than once. May your earthly body be at rest. May your beautiful spirit and soul soar free. I know we will see each other some day again. I will miss you and love you always.
