All about Puggy Soo
Times are tough and many of us have less money coming in (income) but still have the same costs. This leaves most people with very little extra money to just ‘throw away’. This may cause some pet owners to become worried about how to provide for the health and well-being of their pets.
In this article we will try to help you structure your pet-related spending in a way that will keep both you and your pet in good shape. We will start by addressing the essential costs involved with keeping your pet healthy. Then we will mention some options that may help you afford these essential costs. Finally, we will look at what pet-related spending we can consider a luxury (non-essential).
The most important thing you can provide for your pet is health. Budgeting for an annual check-up and vaccinations is absolutely necessary.

I'm a sweet little pug who loves sleeping in sunbeams and chasing the cat. (It's my job to make sure she doesn't scratch the furniture!) I am healthy and happy, but one year ago I was diagnosed with Addison's Disease. I have to take medication every day and go the vet every month for an injection. Since my diagnosis, I have become quite shy and I don't handle stress very well, but my mom takes good care of me and I have been stable since my first treatment. Because I almost died, I'm pretty spoiled and act like a big baby most of the time.
My most embarrassing moment was attacking a cardboard cut-out of a bear at the ferry terminal in Tswassan. I was just trying to protect my mom - and it was very realistic looking! My favourite passtimes are eating, sleeping and eating, but I also like to go for walks and chase German Shepards.
