Twelve years ago today- February 5, 1997- my sweet cat Jesse died suddenly in front of me of an arhythmia. I'll never forget the shock of seeing him take his last breaths-all in the space of just minutes. I felt so horribly helpless and wondered even years later whether I could have done something to save him. All day today I have been thinking of him and remembering how he was such a loving cat and always draping himself on my arm at night. I love you Jesse and miss you. You will never be forgotten.
