Kittens and Birth Infections – Pet tip 241
When kittens are born they are extra small and fragile. This increases their potential of becoming ill or getting an infection. Infections in newborn kittens are quite serious as their bodies are small and they have not built up adequate immunity against many diseases or potential infections that may harm them. This article will focus on three infections that can affect newborn kittens; umbilical infections, toxic milk syndrome and septicemia.
When a female cat (aka a queen) gives birth, she will bite open the amniotic sac that surrounds the kitten. She will then chew through the umbilical cord of the kitten. Normally there are no problems.

I love to watch the birds out the back window everyday! My owners feed and water the birds to make veiwing my exciting. I hate when my owners leave me for a long amount of time i get nervse that they might not return... I love my owners and wouldnt want to loose them... I have many toys i really like the furry mice with tails. I know i could catch real ones if my owners had them. You know what my most embarrassing moment is ..My owners catching my up on th eback of the chair on all my four paws trying to balance.. The most cherished memory i have is there little boy who lives with us.. His name is Garett he loves me to death. I will always love that little boy .. even if he gets older...
