A simple goodbye to a longtime companion and a big part of our family. It is never easy to lose a loved one, and a pet is no different. My condolences to all of you who know what I am feeling right now. Faithful friend for 15 years and almost half my life. He howled at sirens in the middle of the night, knocked over beer cans, even left a very rare present on the floor which I never wanted to find between my toes.
It was a hard decision to take that drive to the vet with the thoughts of euthanasia, but even though he thought he was still a puppy, the fact was that he was not.
Hoping that you are in a better place my friend.
