winter came to us at a year old from some people who wouldn't keep her because she was not a friendly, cuddly sort of cat. that didn't matter to us. we just like to give our cats, some of which are feral, a secure place to be. She took a while to feel comfortable with us, but started to., come up for petting and comfort,which we gladly provided.oved into a new home in july and all of a sudden winter (who i called princess) became very sick and died suddenly. We don't know why, but her brothers and sister (our other 6 cats) miss her and so do we.
