Barrett

will not be supporting this bill -- he does not feel that the
legislation is

effective, nor will it solve the issues that the Liberal government has
with

this specific breed.

Mr. Barrett encourages his constituents who do not feel the legislation

just to write letters to the editor, to Attorney General Michael Bryant
and

members of the Ontario Liberal Government. If you require mailing

Might as well throw this response in too that I got today:

Attacks by vicious dogs have become a serious public issue that needs to be addressed. We need to consider all of the options in the debate. I do not believe that banning the breed is fair, nor does it address the problem.

We in the NDP look forward to participating fully in the debate to find the best solutions to this complex problem, and I appreciate your information.

I'm so sick and tired of these politicians thinking they have a right to drive a breed of dog to extinction!!!I didn't know Hitler was still in charge,I thought this was a democracy.I get furious when these politicians who have no knowledge of any breed of dog tell me they are doing ME a FAVOUR by ALLOWING me to Keep my dog!!!!(This reply actually goes with sammiec's post re: not voting Liberal-I replied to the wrong post-My emotional intensity won't be the same if I have to retype
