Love birds have egg, now what?

My friend has two love birds and they have just laid an egg and I can look and see there is another egg inside the female again. My friend put a basket with some twigs and stuff and the birds have been nesting with there egg. Now should they leave it in there? What happens when the babies are born? Do they have to feed them or will the birds just know how to feed them with regurgated grain feed? Bottom line is there anything she can do to help or things she shouldn't do. Im a dog person and have no idea how these birds work.

Love birds should be getting a better diet than just seeds.

There is tons of info on the net. Just tell your friend to go to Google and type in: breeding lovebirds

This is of course assuming she actually has a male/female pair.
