Meat grinder in Canada?

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a meat grinder that can handle chicken necks and backs. In the States there are hundreds of low cost meat grinders available, but when it comes to Canada, I dont see anything for less than 200$ with a motor powerfull enough to grind chicken bones.

Everybody talks about Northertool #12 meat grinder and Tasin 108 but there are no sellers or distributors in Canada! And if I wanted to order from the states, who knows how much the duties and/or taxes would come up to!

Anyone here from Canada got such a meat grinder for less than 200$ ??

Thanks!
Kim

Ok after many hours of search here's what I found

Based on the following website, the Weston #8 is a good grinder for grinding chicken bones!
http://northcoastpets.com/barf_hardware.htm

If you really want to buy from a Canadian store, here is the only place I found:
http://www.tyeemarine.com/product/fo...ausage-stuffer

Tasin TS-108 is one of the most popular meat grinder in the Barf and Raw feeders community. It is impossible to get one FROM Canada, but if you buy it directly from the following website
http://www.onestopjerkyshop.com/tasi...eat-grinder-1/
they charge 64$ for shipping. Then, if you use that little tool to figure out the REAL cost after tax, import and everything:
www.thefinalcost.com
you will probably find out that total cost is about 250CAN$... which is not THAT bad for a 1200Watts grinder!

Also looking for a meat grinder in Canada, especially ones recommended by Dr. Pierson on www.Catinfo.org

Tried the links.

http://www.tyeemarine.com/ doesn't seem to have any meat grinders on their site.

May have to buy one from One Stop Jerky Shop. There's now a share and get cash back option.
