Coco and his mats!!

Poor kitty, he hates, absolutely hates to be groomed! So he's been getting matted. His fur is so fine that if you look at him the wrong way it mats. Doesn't help that he loves rolling around on the carpet. So today I grabbed him and got the scissors and managed to cut it off! Wow! What a production, it was pretty loose so I wanted to get it off before it caused real problems. He yells, he growls and meows, makes so much noise I swear I'm knicking him but of course I'm not! I take him to the groomers to get clipped and not a peep out of him! Perfect little angel, he doesn't try to get away, nothing! What a boy! A few more weeks and I'll take him to be clipped and everyone will be happy!!

Is there a spray detangler for cats with matted fur you could use?
