Bayley and Socks!!

Since Bayley LOVES stealing my socks, doesn't eat them, just carries them around. I thought I'd start teaching her to go and pick them up for me too. She does tend to leave them all over the place so it's a good thing for her to learn. She just loves to do it, she gets a bit confused and wants to bring me everything!! I only pay for socks though! She likes to get shoes too and brings them. One time I gave her a box to play with and she picked up all the pieces and gave them to me after she finished destroying it! It's amazing how small a piece of paper she can pick up. I think if need be she'd make an awesome service dog.

I think training her to pick up items and put them somewhere else would be great. I love seeing animals tidy up their toys (now that I think of this I need to teach DH this too....).

My last dog was trained to pick up objects, but I could never get him to pick up his toys after playing with them. He would pick up my keys if I dropped them but it would cost me a cookie .

Bayley is getting much better with her sock gathering skills! I think next I'll teach her to put them in the hamper. Oh I have to pay too, or I don't get the sock!! She's not dumb!! I think she's getting the difference between socks and shoes
