In the fridge too long?
Crap...I forgot about the second bag of ground turkey in the fridge! It was thawed and ground up a week ago. There is 20lbs there, with a cost of about $40. Did I leave it too long? Should I chuck it out?

I think that if you cook it well done there will be no problem but to serve it fresh...no no no, poulty can get salmonella and be ???? If it was for me I would cook and eat and be ok with it.

Yeah, it's supposed to be fresh served. I Googled that for humans, Food Safe says 1-2 days for all ground meat, so I chucked it out. I had no idea I was working with such a small time frame otherwise I wouldn't have had the whole 45 lbs ground at once...takes a long time to bag up into daily servings! I'm glad they were sale turkeys, and not normal price, but still...such a shame.
Thanks for your advice Patti.
