Thumbs up

I agree, Marko. We need responsible dog ownership, not breed discrimination from a few politicians creating knee-jerk laws to make it appear like they're doing something. I was really angry when I learned that the government lied about consulting dog experts about creating this bad law. All the experts except one were opposed! There are so many examples of this breed discrimination legislation being repealed because it doesn't make the public safer, yet costs lots of money, kills innocent dogs and victimizes responsible dog owners.

From StopK9Profiling.com:

"Bill 16 has passed a second reading on February 23rd, 2012
The bill is being sent to committee now and we are one step closer!
With a vote of 51 - 26 we are moving forward! Well done everyone.

Keep sending those letters!"

Please go to MPP Randy Hillier's site and sign the petition
backing the new bill being tabled for the removal of BSL in Ontario"

Brent Toellner on his KC Dog Blog tracks several animal related issues including BSL, BSL Repeals, Pit Bulls and Media Irresponsibility,
What part of "Meow" don't you understand?

We can be part of the problem or part of the solution. Inaction is part of the problem.
Please advocate for animals.
