hello!
Hi all,

I'm new and I'm wondering why I can't start a thread in the "for adoption" section of the forum. i'm fostering a pug who needs a home and would like people to know about it.

Welcome to pets.ca , only Admin approved rescues are permitted to list animals for adoption.

No Pugfarts, i'm afraid not.
We allowed this years ago and it did not work out.

So now, only rescues that have permission can post pets for adoption on our board. The main reason for this the fact that rescues can take some responsibility for where the dog ends up. But anonymous people posting pets to be adopted by other anonymous people is just too risky for the pets.
