My 6 month old lab/boxer cross female Sasha ate about 9-10 Sucrets for cough and cold losenges. She became disoriented and ears turned really red and she banged into everything. Was the middle of the night so I was not able to take her to a vet. This morning she was a little groggy still but seems to be fine now. Just wondering what if any lasting effects this could have on her. Hi all this is my first post. :-0

Hi and welcome to the board
![]() Can you list the infredients in the cough drops? Some medications are extremely toxic to dogs. Even though she is seeming better, a vet visit is probably in order.

If this ever happens again and you can't get to a vet right away, at least take note of the dog's heart rate and respiration rate. Some medications can either slow down or speed up the heart rate with possibly dangerous consequences.
