Hi everyone

I'm wondering if anyone can help me find info on Canada or Ontario's pet industry revenue.

I'm looking to start a pet related business and in my business plan I would like to show evidence that Canada/Ontario has a growing pet industry and some figures of how much we spend on our pets each year. Maybe also some figures show what percentages of homes own dogs/pets. Things like that, to help prove starting this business will be a good thing!

Google searching has become difficult - results are either American or outdated.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!

Thanks...I've done that, but I'm not quite getting the results I need. Lots of the results are outdated as far back as 2003, or are "estimates" without proper sources.

I need current (ie: 2010 or newer) statistics with proper sources cited.

I was hoping someone might know of an actual website or something that might give this kind of info, and be credible enough to use as a resource.
