Attack of the Corgi's

A very unsuspecting Bully was approached by 2 seemingly friendly Corgi's

He then drops down to their level to visit with his new friends

This is when... the attack began

A terrified bully makes his escape for higher ground

Maybe I will be safe on the couch

Nope

"Heeelllllp"

"Maybe if I play dead they will lose interest"

After a great round of UFC in our living room, we have some tired doggies, especially wee little Rambo

omd, erykah, that's hilarious!! Those Corgis might be short, but they're determined and, evidently, very persistent! Poor Elmo!

So does the lil Corgi darlin' finally have a name? He's officially Rambo?

Yeah, He's officially Rambo
It kinda grew on me and my man is dead set on it so I have named more than my fair share of dogs and cats and horses around here so, I guess he can have this one, should have done what I did for Meiko back in the day, present him with a list of "pre approved" names and let him pick from them

After the action adventure depicted in your photo story, I think Rambo's kinda earned the name!

Yeah, I thought Erykah had only one also, TQ, thought I was having a senior moment when I saw two. Love the photo's of the pup flat out like a lizard drinking, and Elmo's eyes are so funny. I have a friend with a male ACD that gives her wonderful expressions like that, I'd love to own him. These photo's are better publicity for PB's or bully breeds than anyone verbally trying to make people like them.

I guess I didn't introduce Rambo here yet.
Another example of how I don't post absolutely everything lol...
Rambo is my mans new fishing buddy. Since Meiko was primarily his dog he said he was choosing the next one. He really likes Spook and I feel comfortable with him taking her places alone ( I don't like him taking any of the others beside Kita as they are a little more to handle for him)

Spooks breeder offered us Rambo on condition that we (myself and her) show him to specials as she had intended on keeping him back but was more than thrilled for him to come here. He is Spooks half brother, their father is a MBIS winner in the US and his dam is a Can/Am CH.
I'm really not interested in conformation showing all that much anymore but still will be getting titles on my TM's but after talking with my Corgi breeder more we are going to pack up later this year to some herding clinics and start herding testing the Corgi's.

Rambo has a fair deal of herding instinct already and we are going to be encouraging it with him.

I'm more concerned of the stubby's hurting him lol.
He is a very good boy with other dogs. He does have some DA tendancies and if challenged he quickly heads into "fight" mode but when it comes to playing and rough housing he is super gentle and patient with all the dogs here.
Its just the one neighbour dog I really have to be on him about. He's a Border Collie cross and comes trotting over here with his tail and head held high almost in a cocky manner which makes all my dogs a bit uneasy.
Its not just Elmo who wants a round with him but Marv and Kita too, and for Kita to get riled up about another dog... well he's giving off some bad vibe because she is not at all an aggressive dog towards other dogs

Corgi delicious

These pics made my day. Persistence defines this breed. Brought back memories of my Sadie when she was new to the house. Somehow most dogs seem to sense she may be forward but not aggressive. She's never been in a fight in all her ten years until an eight year old Golden Retriever rescue, who doesn't like to share toys, moved in. Now we have to be careful.

Watch the Corgi diet. They pack it on really fast.

They sure do pack it on fast, Spook took no time getting "pudgy" so now she's on a little diet/excercise program for her first show at the end of this month.

So Elmo is sort of like Spook's personal trainer?
