Ok... here we go again lol

I was playing with the monster a little while ago and something caught my eye. I'm sure some of you will know what this is. I did some poking around on the internet and pretty much everything I came across in text seems like this is what it could be, canine papilloma virus. But... when I go to look at the pictures, it looks a lot different. Most descibe it as yellowish or pink and looking like a cauliflower. Nanook's is pure white, perfectly round and flat on the top (in fact, I though it was just something stuck to his lip). DH held him so I could get a pic (please excuse my strand of hair, I just noticed it lol) and now I can see there are a few more white bumps on the inside of his mouth. The holistic clinic is closed until Monday and our regular vet isn't back in until Monday. I don't think it's an emergency, but maybe I'm wrong. Any thoughts on what it may be would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Robyn

The large one on Nanook's lip does look textured. Does it seem to bother him? I don't think it's an emergency and can hold until Monday . If anyone does, you guys deserve a long break right about now .

The break will come, eventually lol
The large is flat on top, as in not rounded like a mound (all the pictures I looked at were like little mounds), but it is very textured, almost bumpy
The small ones seem to be smooth. It doesn't bother him at all. In fact, he's had another great day. So playful and even had the "zoomies" a couple of times

Guess I'll just keep an eye on it and if it starts to bother him, I'll call the specialist clinic. They're in the same building as the hospital and I think open on Saturday.

Rguerts I am wondering too if its the papilloma? I think they are immune system related. If your boy is taking some herbs that are detoxing him so to speak maybe thats why your seeing them??

I agree!! looking forward to that video...

Oh!!! Maybe that's it. Dr. Marsden did tell us that we may see him breaking out with rashes or sores, and that if we do, it isn't a bad thing. I wonder if this would fit in with that? But he is on 2 immuno-suppressants as well, Prednisone and Azathioprine. I guess I'll find out on Monday. I won't worry too much unless he starts showing signs that it's bothering him. For now, he doesn't seem to know it's there

I'll always find a way for their Christmas pressies!! Hopefully my car will sell soon, then all will be well

And ya, the bright white is what's making me think they may not be pappillomas. I know he's prone to fungal infections, so maybe it's some type of fungus

We have an appt. Monday afternoon. Until then, I'll just try not to worry lol. It doesn't seem to bother him at all.

I don't mind! I don't need a fancy car anyway. I just use it to go to work and haul the doggies around lol. I'll sell it and use half to buy a minivan or something more practical and put the rest back in to savings

Problem solved!

That picture looks similar to the ones I've seen on the GSD, they were diagnosed as papillomas by their vets.
