Looks like a lovely weekend, klm! Nice shot of the sunrise! How did you ever manage?

Boy, Mollie and Gryphon would be so jealous if they knew!

Believe you/me Hazel--it was tough! Hubby woke up at 5:30 a.m. then came back into our room shortly after six asking "what time did you want up Hunny?" I growled at him but he started packing stuff (so he claims) quietly which was too loud for my liking! I decided to get up and glad that I did!

I snuck a couple of nice hardwood sticks in the trunk for Gryphon & Mollie and sawed them into quarters when we got home. They now have 6 new chew sticks and are happy to have them and us home!

No warblers but many, many dragonflies! My BIL & SIL have dubbed their point as dragonfly point as there are so many that fly freely around the point. They've had a fair share of hummers around too but I was a little too late in the afternoon to catch them kayaking.

Thanks LP...Jake is a 12 YO Black Lab and Tyler is a 9 YO Newf/Lab mix. They're both beautiful well behaved boys.

What was really nice with my BIL/SIL's cottage is that there was no cell phone or internet signal just peace & quiet.

While I missed coming onto pets not to mention missing my little furbutts too, it was truly what every doctor would order but now I got to give my head a shake and get back to reality!

That's what I was thinking too growler. Quite the "cottage". For some of us that would be our dream home.

It truly was a wonderful get away and I have to agree with 14+ in that a cottage such as this would be my dream home too!

Oh if I could win the lottery!

I took video at the cottage and the other night, I figured out how to freeze frame the video and capture still shots!

So here's my daughter knocking her father and her aunt off the inflatable trampoline dock!

I don't know--maybe age played a factor?
