Has your cat had a senior blood panel and urinalysis done recently?

Hyperthyroidism can cause some cats to meow/yowl more, although there are other conditions that may also be a factor. Always a good idea to have a vet check when there's a change in your cat's behaviour.

What medication is your cat currently taking?

He is on Doxycycline and Tetracycline for his virus...Our main concern is we don't want his meowing to be because of pain!!!
We will take him to the vet just wanted to see if there could be any other reasons because it is so costly!!!

What do you mean by recently? An hour ago, a couple of days ago, a week ago?

Is he on both these antibiotics at the same time?

What virus does he have? Antibiotics are for treating bacterial or fungal infections not viruses.
