Since the start of the rescue 2004, we have found homes for over 400 dogs. Many of the dogs that we place in homes have extensive medical needs that must be dealt with prior to the dog being adoptable. We respond to requests from owners, other rescues, the SPCA's and shelters who cannot afford the medical care for the dogs. We currently have 10 dogs in our care who all require medical treatment including surgeries for broken legs, amputations due to birth defects or old injuries and treatment for mange. These dogs are in foster homes until they are healthy enough to be placed in forever homes.
WBBR is run solely on donations and adoption fees. We need your help! The medical costs can be devestating to a small non-profit organization such as ours. Therefore, we are hosting a Pub Night Fundraiser. Unfortunately this is an adult only event and no kids or dogs will be permitted!-

Tickets are $30 for a single ticket or $50 per couple. The cost of admission will provide you with appetizers and 1 free beverage per person. There will be great silent auction items and a chance for you to win a round trip ticket for 2to fly anywhere West Jet airlines flies!!!!! (thanks WESTJET!)

All proceeds from the event will go directly to help WBBR dogs in need and will help us continue to assist those who are unable to help themselves. Those little souls that have been wronged by humans by no fault of their own that deserve so much more.
