Cat is shedding LOTS

I have a blind cat that's 14 months old and she is shedding like crazy! Every time I pet her a lot of her fur comes out or if I pick her up it gets on all my clothes and I wear a lot of black. I feed her Meow Mix. If anyone can help me that would be just wonderful

CatLover,I would get her off the Meow Mix,for sure,it has nothing in it that's good for cats,it's junkfood.
Try to gradually get her started on good quality canned food,Wellness,Evo,Eagle Pack,found in petsupply stores,like Global,Pet Value etc..
Try to brush her often,my cats right now are shedding a lot too,actually having cats,things will be hairy,I have not worn black for years
But starting with a better food is very important,no cat should be eating just dry food,loaded with corn and other useless ingredients,cats are carnivores and need meat.

eww even my strays wont eat meow mix!!! look at it this way, the human doctor will recommend a good diet for good skin it is the saame for cats and dogs
