Hello my friends

It has been several months since I have checked in. I am doing really well these days, Sasha is doing good also, except for noise sensitivity. She gets very upset with thunder, firecrackers, a bang anything really. I am working on this with her and I sure hope I can help before the real thunderstorm season starts.

I have been working on a business plan that includes a swimming pool for dogs and Tellington TTouch.

I was in Ottawa last January for a Hydrotherapy for dogs course and then spent one week in Calgary for my first of 4 or 6 classes of TTouch.

Sasha was/is my inspiration for the pool, y'all know that she is a water dog, 1 1/2 year ago I wanted to take her swimming to an indoor pool because it was still freezing cold outside, there is not a pool in Edmonton sooo I figure I should open one for her.

The indoor pools for dogs is pretty big in the UK and Australia but not so much in N.America, it is growing slowly. Anyway.....nice to be back.

Welcome back Patti . I'm so happy to hear you're doing so well and what amazing news about your business adventure . I have no doubt you will be very successful! Please tell us more as you go along.

Are you practicing lots of TTouch on Sasha? I was reading how one can practice putting a cue to the state of relaxation and then apply that cue in stressful situations/environments. Maybe that's something that can help Sasha during storms.

Again, so happy to see you back .

Hey Patti--nice to hear your updates and endeavours.

We've missed your stories of sweet Sasha and would love to see some updated pictures of your sweet girl.

I've heard that taking a bounce fabric sheet and gently rubbing it on the back of a dog can reduce their anxiety during thunderstorms. A quick calming fix perhaps?

In any event...pictures of Sasha would be great!
