what kind of harness for a kitten
Hi I am slowly getting all the things I will need for my new kitten and was thinking of picking up a harness soon. I will be getting her the 2nd week in august and since it is such a long drive home I want to have a harness on her in addition to having a cat carrier. Is ther any particular type I should be looking for? A harness would be better than a collar wouldn't it? What size should I get for a kitten?

harness is better as light as possible and please remember!!! cats will get out of harnesses also regard a harness as a device to impedes the kitty so u can grab her rather than think she cant get out

Yes, a harness is better than a collar, and yes, a kitty moving backwards with the leash taut can get out of a harness. Like Jim said, it is more for some control, rather than absolute control.
