My dog ate wax paper!
My dog just ate about 4 pieces of "now & later" candies (Taffy wrapped in wax paper). Will he be able to digest it?
I'm always prying sticks/twigs from his mouth, I know he's eaten some and FORTUNATELY has never had a problem digesting them, so I'm hoping he has a good 'system'. Can anyone advise??? Thank you

I can't see him having any issues. Just keep an eye on him. If he seems off call you vet. Dogs have eaten far worse than that and are fine.

when i was a kid I had a beagle eat 3 chocolate bars wrapped in paper and tin foil, and got the runs and tin foil poop but was fine.
There should be no reason that the candy wrappers won't pass through. Sugar from the candies isn't good but isn't dangerous from 3 candies. |

I wouldn't worry too much, those would be fairly small pieces of wax paper and should pass no problem. My lab ate a chocolate bar foil wrapper (no candy - don't you love labs??) several years ago and she vomited bile for several days and then threw the wrapper up intact. I would just watch to make sure your pet has no signs of distress or blockage and just wait for it to pass. With pieces that small you probably won't even see them.
