Lucy & Riley Walk in Sunshine

So, the sun came out for a while yesterday so I decided to play hooky from preparing income taxes and enjoy some time with my favourite furries.

Heh, what's that?

I love this pic even though it is badly "composed" but her face just makes my heart sing in this one .

The problem is that her front elbows/shoulder are actually some of her worst problems these days. Her back end is stiff and no longer coordinates properly with the front but she still has some semi-decent strength there .

She is paying for yesterdays outing with some real stiffness this morning . I have a session booked tomorrow for IMS (similar to accupuncture) which should help . I think I am also gonna give her another three week course of cartrophen instead of the monthly to see if that helps.

I feel her starting the journey to say goodbye as she is sleeping off alone a lot unless it is feeding time or we are going out. I am cherishing walks like yesterday and her happy smile. We will be camping on the beach for the May long weekend and I look forward to having another beach adventure .

I know . He's definately got a huge tongue. He weighed in a few weeks back at 111 pounds . Gotta love the big goof though cause he makes me laugh.

They look so hapy! I miss having a place where our dogs could run free. Where we lived before there was 90 acreas we use to take our dogs to run.

Teri...does Lucy have one of those heated pillows to help her hips feel better?

Nope, she isn't really a fan of warm . She does have super cushy beds all over the house and sometimes I warm up a heat wrap for her which helps.

Thanks for the compliments everyone .

The last photo in your post of Lucy is magnificent! She looks so wonderful, content and at comfort with the world Moments to treasure for sure

Riley just cracks me up.... I love his zoomies and the "hurry up guys" pic (ok, i'm a bit jealous too cause at least he waits for you, Nolie just looks back with a "you guys are too slow" look and takes off )
Has he ever poked his eye with that flying tongue? It looks like it would reach to the top of his head!!

Beautiful!

(and for lots more beach adventures for you all)
