"Wha' chyoo doin' there?!?" or "Close Encounters of the Squirrelly Kind"
hazel was moving the photography blind this morning and ended up with a bit of an unhappy spectator. Musta put it on his favorite blade of grass or something.
 The rather one-sided conversation went something like this: "Hey, there! Wha' 'chyou doin'?!"
"Stop dat!!!" "Don' make me come over dare!" "K! You aksed fer it!"

Oh, ya...he was definitely irritated!
A little while later, I was up on the deck grooming the dogs and looked over toward the blind just in time to see the little blighter about to sneak into it under the door flap!  Note to self: check for booby-traps before entering blind next time.

He was quite harsh, though.
He yelled at hazel the entire time she was out there taking pictures.

Great pics, Hazel. They can sure natter if you interrupt their meal . On a side note: Jasper caught one once and put it down, and turned his back so it could run away , that little red squirrel didn't natter at him again

Thank Dawg none of ours have caught one!
I think they'd need stitches afterward. They really do have a marvelous vocabulary. More 4-letter words than even madame hazel can come up with in an argument! Both she and that squirrel are crusty ol' souls....
