Bassett Hound Bling

Poko is going to meet some perspective adoptive parents on the weekend. I thought she might feel more confident with some sparkly, shiny new jewelry
Just want the world to see how beautiful this puppy is...

She looks lovely ...there is no way any family could be disappointed with a beauty like that. From what you have said about her Macomom she sounds perfect.

It went very well. Poko is now at their home
She feel asleep on their kitchen floor about 20 minutes after arriving.
Dad has tons of Bassett experience and a good understanding of what to expect.
Poko awoke when the little boy went downstairs and teetered off after him to snuggle on the couch.

I left without crying. I was proud of myself.

Thanks everyone. I hope that I have not made too big a deal about my fostering experience, but we really open our hearts to these dogs, as temporary as they might be- we make them family.
Our kids are adjusting to her absence. They went to their grandparents house this weekend, and I am not sure they fully understood me when I explained what was transpiring.

You can NEVER make too much of a deal of fostering , such an unselfish act.
