what do you think is this idea a bang or bust? ![]() ![]() Format: Canada » Province » Jurisdiction............................ruling over City/Cities/Town/Towns/Area/Areas USA » State » Jurisdiction Example: Canada > British Columbia > Burnaby General information Dog Licences BC SPCA Report Animal Cruelty Kennel Regulation Bylaws Animal Control Bylaw City Bylaws > Regulatory Bylaws > A-F > Animal Control Bylaw 1991 Bylaw Notice Enforcement Bylaw ... Might be pretty useful for people about to move into an area, though--sort of one-stop shopping for regulations if their new community is covered.
Course, the success of it might depend upon how many communities have their info posted on the internet...

Sounds like a good idea but I don't know how feasible it is. It seems every year cities are changing their bylaws or at least attempting to. You would need by laws for the specific area you are looking for as they can vary greatly from town to town or city to city.
Have you contacted Marko to ask about that?

I agree it would be very difficult to list animal bylaws, for instance here in Durham Region, each town/city has it's own individual bylaws and they change them every year. Trying to keep up with the changes when they aren't all listed on the internet, would be a full time job.

I know in Pennsylvania, usa , all cats that are in the house need rabies vaccinations by law. That means that if it spends 23 hours and 50 min. outside but comes in for 10 min. to eat, it has to have a rabies shot. But if the cat is an out side cat, via a stray, or in a cattery/ kennel and does not come in to the house , it does not have to have the shot. I was told though by the dog law enforcement that they really dont enforce the law often because it is hard to monitor cats.
Just thought i would put this here, since i got this from them. Any info for people here.
