Wink Overdue intros!

Evening all!

I recently posted in a semi panic in the health section however the panic and drama is now over, so I thought I had better introduce myself and my furry family

I am Hayley or Hurricane Hayles (it's my roller derby persona!) and I am 26. I have recently moved to Montreal from the UK. Originally from SE of England but spent the last 7 yrs in Edinburgh, Scotland.

I am owned by three wonderful cats

Firstly, meet Dylan! Dylan is my "fancy pants" cat - a purebred Maine coon. He is 5 yrs old now and my gentle giant. He loves to look out of the window, lie in empty baths and steal the bed. He goes by nick names such as Mr Man, fozzy britches, stretchy boy and "grumps" when he loses patience with his annoying little brothers :P

Next is Alfie. He will be two years old in March and is a mix of three breeds - British shorthair, chinchilla persian and bengal! It's a slightly odd mix I know. He has the "wiggly" personality of a bengal, the features of a BSH and the colouring of his chinchilla Dad. He loves to talk to himself as he runs about the place mad and growl at anyone who dares come within 5 feet of his home i.e the postman . He has the biggest greenest eyes which I just LOVE. He goes by aliases such as wee man, smooshy face, and poddy paws.

Lastly, our newest edition - Louie! The 5 month old crazy canadian kitten. He's the "mutt" of our family. He really looks up to his older brother Alfie with whom he regularly wrestles, and has taken on some of his "talkative" habits. He's a complete love bug and would literally chew your ears off in pleasure if you'd let him. He is also known as Lil Lou, Lou Lou and nibbler!

Looking forward to getting to know you all

Welcome!

I have 2 Maine Coons. They are so goofy (deleted a lot of descriptions and that was the best one). I always feel like they should have their own theme music. Your baby looks a lot like my Caserz.

I love the talky kitties. Drive DH nuts, but I love having conversations in "kitty" with them.

Welcome aboard, Hayley and crew! And welcome to Canada! Your kitties are scrumptious (I love their nicknames, especially "smooshy face").

How is Alfie doing these days? Eating with gusto, I hope.

Yup! He's back to pigging out as normal I could sit and watch him eat allllll day after the weekend we've just had

Hazelrunpack - I am part of the MTLRD league here in Montreal but not assigned to a home or travel team yet. Try outs are on the 15th. I competed fairly regularly back in the UK though as part of the Auld Reekie roller girls

I think talking kitties are great

I can have full on meowing conversations with Dylan in the mornings! He says Meow, I say meow - he responds

We have a large echo'y basement right now and Dylan's favourite thing to do is to go and sit down there and meow lots. I think he just likes how it sounds in that big space
