Suggestion re: Food Forum - "savings/bargains" subforum

An idea occurred to me as I left Food Basics loaded up with 30+ lbs of $.99/lb boneless pork loin (SCORE!), that other raw-feeders might appreciate hearing about a good deal.

I suspect many are like me, and scour the flyers weekly for the 1$ or less bargains, but very often I find that when I arrive at a store there are "managers' specials" or unadvertised deals.

Would anybody else find it helpful/interesting if members were to post little notices, something like :

"OTTAWA-Food Basics on St. Laurent...boneless pork loin .99/lb"

We could open it to pet food deals in general (i.e. canned/dry food)

Just a thought. What do others think?

that's a great idea bendy, we get flyers friday nights for all of the stores. I find No Frills has alot of manager sales too.

Maybe put a range of dates (with the year) in the title?--otherwise people will waste a lot of time looking at 'specials' that might be months old

Also, this subforum would only benefit those living in the big cities. :sad:

I have no problem trying out new things and i think this is a good idea so long as people use it fairly regularly...
