Dogs With IBD

I thought there was some good information in this article written by a woman whose dog suffered from IBD. I was not aware that they may have trouble absorbing zinc .....

Quote:
One very important element to supplement is zinc, zinc is often not absorbed by IBD dogs at all and to make it accessible to them it should be supplemented in the form of zinc picolinate.

The entire article is here ....

Here is another good website with tons of information on it and if you click on the stuff written in blue it elaborates even more ....

http://www.dogaware.com/specific.html#ibd

Click on "IBD, IBS, Colitis, and other Gastrointestinal Disorders" ....the IBD info is a little over halfway down the page.
