stoopid doctor

MY hooman swettte maria has a stpah infection in her thumb that wont go away we had to go to a specialist and she is putting M on a iv drp with antibiotics

we mentione that we own two cats and the dr says " well they are dirty and probaly causing the infection get rid of them "

i thought Maria was going to take a swing at her
When i got her calmed down i asked the DR can yu name me one intance of a cat causing a staph infection?
she couldnt and we both agreed that having cats has no bearing on this
so the dr says maybe you should find another dr well that is a great idea

Poor Maria . for a quick recovery for her so she doesn't have to endure the iv for too long.

Hmmmmm a doctor that doesn't like to be challenged is a doctor with a narrow mind, in my view. Good going, Jim.

You should have replied "maybe you should find a different profession cuz you suck at this one".

I hope the antibiotics work and Maria has a speedy recovery.

OMG Jim,what kind of doctor was that
I had terrible cat-bites from Rocky, had to have IV antibiotics, only once did my family-doctor ask"is that cat still with you?"
He never asked again

omg, Jim! That doctor shouldn't be practicing... :frustrating: I did like the fact you were in your friend's law office when you got the report about what the doctor told the insurance company, though. Did they have the comment withdrawn by the deadline?

I hope Maria recovers soon! Staph is nothing to mess with!

Miscommunication, my capacious @$$

Insensitive self-impressed doctor, more like.

I'm glad the second doctor had a little more empathy!! He sounds like a great guy.

I hope Maria kicks the staph soon.

Everything's been said Jim. Kudos for you and your Maria for speaking up! Idiotic doctors. Just because they have a degree does not mean they were given smart with it.

My doctor can't say anything like that as his wife is involved in rescue. It's great!!
