My cat has been losing so much furr lately (it's endless) and her nose is dry and warm. Is she sick...do I have to worry?

have you spoke with a vet yet?
Is she lethargic, sleeping alot, drinking, eating - are there any other symptoms? |

She's not lethargic but she drinks alot of water. More than I've ever seen her drink before. She also doesn't want to drink the water that I put out for her...she wants the water straight from the tap (sink or tub).

How old is your cat? Excessive drinking can be a sign of diabetes or kidney problems.
You need to take her for a check up, and probably a blood test to determine organ function, or diabetes. |

McKenzie is 11 yrs. old. Her moods haven't changed and she's still so playful. I'll make an appointment because I just thought that maybe she was drinking so much since it was so hot in my apartment. Thank you all for your helpful advice.
