Well they bought this device at Lee Valley Tools.. It's a sensor "duck" looking thing that when the skunks pass by, it projects a stream of water in their path.

I think the only way I will be able to get rid of our skunks is to buy our own contraption and steer them back into my mother/father in laws' path...MAN would they be confused
