Question about de-worming

Hi! I am a Canadian who lives in China teaching english. My husband and I recently bought a puppy and are afraid that it might have worms. Being in China there are no good vets where we live. My parents sent me Combantrin (for worm treatment in humans). Does anyone know if I can use this on a puppy safely and if so, the proper dosage?

I can't answer your question, craigntibet, but perhaps your parents can contact a vet here and ask them? If it isn't an ideal med, they can always find a vet who will sell them some Advantage Multi or other de-wormer (remember that the treatment should be repeated) and have it sent over to you.
