a couple of birds

Here are a couple that I took a short time ago. I like to take a mixture of dried fruits and nuts to attract some birds for photographing. Only got a nuthatch this day. Red-bellied woodpecker would not allow me a good shot and stayed so far away.

Just tossing this one in for the heck of it

I thought that red-bellied woodpecker was pretty close! The downy looks pretty close, too, unless you have one heck of a zoom lens.

Those are spectacular shots of the red-bellied nuthatch, though! How close was it? So beautiful!

Na, they wouldn't let me get too close, I had a zoom lens attached. The nuthatch was about 8 feet away.

I always love looking at the pics you take of birds Lukka'sma. That last one in particular is wonderful! Such a cutie pie face.
