White and Grey Tabby, Niagara Falls
This little guy (I think) has been hanging around my house the last few weeks, was very skittish at first but tonight came up for treats and a couple of pets. Was very hungry and seems very confused (will let me pet a couple times and then hisses and backs away kinda panicky). (I suspect he was just dumped... but am hoping not.) I will be placing a temp tag on him next time I see him in hopes that he has a home and someone will call like with CeCe.

Yep... got the collar on him tonight though so hopefully I'll get a call that he's just an outdoor kitty, then I can give them a lecture about how he was almost smooshed by a car tonight!

14+ already offered to add him to the pack! (I just LOOOVE Gerri!!!
) I haven't seen him yet today, but I was at work, so I'll sit out for a bit after dinner and see if he shows up. I can't wait till I have a house big enough to set up for fostering, or at least a heated garage or something.... there really is just nowhere here to put a cat while keeping it seperate from my guys.

 that someone shows up to claim him. He looks like a sweetie. I am still wondering about the biting. May be he just isn't socialized well. Have already warned hubby to expect another one. He, of course, is just thrilled.  (not) Oh well, he will learn to accept it sooner or later.  Crate is ready and waiting in case you can't find his home. I am off on Tues and Wed this week if you want to bring him.

Ya the hissing makes me lean toward abuse, like he knows what pets are because he leans into them, but then backs up hissing like that's what hurt him....
 I dropped off the photo at the HS today so if anyone is looking for him, my number is there. I'm kind of hoping he has a chip and just got out and then injured and scared and lost. If not, we'll figure something out. Either at 14's or a new home or something. (the girl next door would really love a cat...not sure if the parents would be into rescuing him or not)... I have a pretty good kitty 'pimpin' record...  And I am now officially in sales!  Sorry to hear he's crabby Gerri, I'll know how much I can put up for the vet visit tomorrow.... I'll let ya know and you let me know what you work, then we can arrange to take him in. I'm really hoping it's nothing serious, you can tell he was once loved and a really sweet cat. (it was him pushing his head against my hand that got me... )
