Roundworms In Dogs
Hey Guys
Im new to this forum and owning a puppy but the other day i noticed something different in my puppys stool. After researching it i found out that my dog has Roundworms. Its a sunday morning and there is no vets, and im wondering how urgent it is to see one...PLEASE HELP! Thanks!

How old is the puppy?

Has it been dewormed @ the vet yet? (Already had the meds for it?)

No, it is not urgent unless he has severe diarrhea or vomiting. Go to the vets when you get a chance and get something like Nemex or Drontal. Don't waste your money on OTC stuff.

Did they look like little white spaghettis'?

Kathryn is right: if there are no other symptoms, you can wait a day or two to have him treated. Take a stool sample in to the vet when you go so the proper meds can be prescribed.
