YAY! first night out of the crate
It's crazy but I had to say it somewhere!
Titus did his first night out of his crate last night. Since he's being allowed in the bed and couches, he slept in the bed. We weren't sleeping (doing cider and perry cider in fact, crushing apples and pears then juicing them is hell believe me, but oh so worth it) So we got to check on him once in a while, he was... snoring, taking half the space and doing his general death from gas farts No peeing, no freaking out, no nothing, only sleeping, and when we got in bed (at 4 am) he simply moved aside a bit (after a couple of nudges) so we could get in bed. Only to let him outside at 8 the next morning (he let us sleep! we woke up at 6:30 for his usual pee/poo, but he slept and we decided to let him sleep a few minutes) YAY! /end happy post

Well sounds like puppy is adjusting to the freedom very well. Glad things are working out so well :-)

its nuts, Eben was a total nut job on crack i tell you, but Titus is so well adjusted its crazy ^^ Hell I might be able to test him out of his crate (in kitchen area) for a few minutes if he keeps on being so well behaved He hasn't had accidents in a while too. And, no more "happy piddles"

Glad to hear his first night out went well. He's still quite young though, isn't he? Be careful not to rush into total freedom too quickly. Nights are easy since the pups are used to sleeping. Wide awake daytime hours can be very different and it's much easier to take it slow and prevent problems than to have to deal with regression in the house training or destructive behaviour. Good luck though, it sounds like he's off to a great start
