The kitten was caught in the trap last night

I was surprised when she didn't come around for dinner. Normally sitting at the door when I open it, this time she was no where to be seen. I feed the outdoor cats after 7:30 so they don't get harrassed by hornets and flies. My big indoor/outdoor stray Max was no where to be seen either. I finally saw Max last night, but still no kitten. Max seemed out of sorts, he ate, but kept wandering off.
Breakfast time this morning and still no kitten. Max wasn't around either. Just then my neighbour popped her head out of her door and said the kitten wandered into the live trap around 6:00 last night and has gone to her new home. That explains why Max has been out of sorts. He's looking for her. I hope he settles down soon. I miss her too, she was a real sweetie. I'm so happy she has a home now.
No sign of the cat with the hurt front paw either. Haven't seen him for a couple of days now. I'm sure that cat has a home, so hopefully he's at home with his paw on the mend.

Congrats with trapping! I am having bad luck with my traps lately. They are out of whack and never lock so my cats just tend to pop out of them

I am so glad kitty was smart and went into the trap and now has a new home!! she is healthy and her owners will give her a fantastic home!
Also for the guy with the sore paw and Big Max that he comes around again to be his happy self.

I won't get an update on the kitten until my neighbours daughter gets back from Cuba on the weekend. I really miss seeing that cute little face when I open up the front door. I'm so relieved that she has a home though. I really hope she is healthy and gets to live a long happy life.

That is great news, clm.

Kitties do go into "mourning" when a kitty friend stops coming around. Jasper did when Misty passed away.
