Pet Oxygen Masks

There has been an initative to supply fire departments with Oxygen mask sets for animal! the set is 3 masks specially designed to fit over the muzzle of a dog or cat. They come in three sizes, small, medium and large and will provide oxygen to pets who have been affect by smoke in house fires or just need to be recesitated.

The initiative started in the US, but has recently crossed the boarder to Canada. The local Kennel Clubs in southern Ontario have gotten behind this initiative and have raised enough funds to supply a set of masks to every fire station from Niagara Falls to Haldamen!

I thought that was pretty exciting.

I think this is a really great and progressive idea.

Anyone have a link to these masks? I'd love to tell the Montreal fire department about this.

many thanks!
