UPDATE - on the lab that went missing with Sadie

This is a quote from Sadie's owner:

"Sadie is doing great!!!!!!! And more good news is that P.J. was found yesterday and is home as well........found isn't the right term......a neighbor called the police after we had canvassed the area to let them know she thought her neighbors may have a "new" dog fitting that description.

Turns out she was very right and it was P.J.................since the neighbor who had the dog claims to have "found" the dog and there is no evidence to tie them to the original incident there was not a thing the police could do except take the dog......thankfully we didnt have to pay THEM the reward but we did reward the wonderful neighbor who was so observant and called in the tip..........sadly P.J. has a few injuries (we are thinking that there was some abuse) but wil make a full recovery!!!!!
Side note........there were two other dogs that the police removed along with P.J. due to signs of neglect and abuse.......they are checking to see if they match any descriptions of missing dogs in the area!"
I am sooo happy PJ was found!! A happy ending for a distraught family.

Wonderful to hear Sadie has been found too. How can people be so cruel to take other people's pets. They certainly are not worthy of having a pet if they don't understand the true love between an owner and their pet...and if they knew this they wouldn't just keep a found dog or steal one as this case seems to have been.

Wonderful news that they're back home... Sad that there are sick people out there and PJ and the others had to suffer for it... If the others that were seized were also lost, I hope they're reunited with their families quickly!

How was Sadie found? I farmer who lived 1 hour out of the city awoke to find a "flipping big dog" sleeping on his front porch. He called the local vet and she was transported to the vet clinic for treatment.

I also learned more about PJ's case. The neighbour who reported the people who had PJ said she keeps an eye on their house because they have had dogs taken from them many times for neglect and abuse. They are hoarders.

I am so glad both pups are back where they belong. Great story!!

As for the "finders". It seems the stupidity never ends. Either with the finder/abuser or with the authorities who refuse to change the laws.

That is really sad  I'm glad both dogs are okay and hopefully not too traumatized. Also glad to hear that woman keeps an eye on her neighbours...
