Exclamation Shame on Ontario

I've just finished reading how the OMNR(Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources)has so far killed 9.700 raccoons and foxes and to their total shame,99.8% were all healthy animals.
I cannot believe this was happening while people were totally unaware.
I knew,if you found baby-coons or any other wild animal, they would be killed, which is bad enough.
But to deliberatly trap and kill 9.700 animals borders on barbaric and is sickening. Are they going to kill everything that remotely poses a danger to people?
Not one single raccoon had rabies......maybe the OMNR is secretly in the fur-business You can read all about it here.Scroll down to the bottom. If it bothers you at all,you can send an e-mail or a letter of protest.

seems to me your government is treating you all like a bunch of chumps, and abusing their powers, man what a bunch of ego trippers they are. and to do it behind your backs, that to me indicates the govs feeling about its public, they can do anything as long as they hide it, man what else are they up to, that is a scary thought.

Had a thought last night I know it's silly but it crossed my mind none the less.....
Imagine a newspaper similar to the enquirer or the star you know the gossip, we caught ya without make-up crap, but geered toward goverment officials a bunch of reporters finding out all the nasty things they do behind the scenes Maybe they would be more careful about things they do.......like I said just a thought

I actually wrote the same letter to all the addresses listed on the site, not that they care too much, more like a venting-tactic for me...
I've heard that some animal-rights people have had some success in talking to the minister in question.
A story about "Canada not so good"in the Enquirer might be a good idea,I am going to check and see if it's possible.
