My puppy eats worms!!! And I think they make her hyper!

Hello,

My name is Devin. Recently i got a bichon frise, and she has been great. she is almost f housetrained, and we love her very much.
The other day she was out in the back yard by herself, and when i went out she had a worm in her mouth. She seems to like them. Ever since she started finding worms in the grass she has been completley hyper.
I think that something about the worms makes her hyper, when she eats them.
I don't know what to do!!! Help !!!
