Deworming
How often do dogs need to be dewormed? Annie was dewormed as a puppy and is now 5 1/2 months. Does she need it again soon? Can I get the vet to give this to her when I spay her next week?

All you need to do is take a fresh fecal sample to your vet to have checked. No need giving any medication for problems that may not exist.

The other thing is that if you are in a heartworm prone area then most of the heartworm meds now have wormer built right into them - pretty darn efficient!
