eyelash fettish?

My cat, Bella, is very loveable.. she'll get in my lap and sit for awhile, I'll talk to her and she'll look at me and 'talk' back.. then she stares at my eyes and eventually wants to try and lick, or bite my eyelashes.. Does anyone have any idea why she would be doing this? She's very gentle when she's trying to get to them, but I try to keep her from actually licking my eyes or biting them.. Thanks!

my late cat did this her whole life, at first I thought it was the mascara, but she'd do it to my hubby also*L* we think she just liked that they fluttered, she also was very gentle when sampling them
